Targeting the fat beneath the chin can be difficult. As we age or gain weight, the area can become more filled out. As we begin to lose weight, some fat may be reduced, but having the area look more slim and contoured is harder. Now, Kybella can target this area using a series of injectable treatments. Kybella leaves you with less excess fat and a more defined profile in just a few minutes.

How Kybella Works

Kybella is a treatment that uses deoxycholic acid injections to target fat beneath the chin. Deoxycholic is a bile acid that is naturally produced by your body to help absorb fat. Kybella is created with a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid to destroy fat cells to no longer store fat. During the treatment, small injections will be placed across the area to target the fat. Over the next few weeks, the fat will be metabolized by the body. Most patients require more than one treatment to attain their desired results. The number of treatments required can be discussed during your consultation at Texas Facial Plastic Surgery.

Benefits of Kybella

Kybella is a safe and effective way to target submental fat without diets, workouts, or surgery. This short treatment takes roughly 20 minutes and can be performed multiple times to help achieve the desired results. Because the fat cells will no longer be able to store fat, this is a long-lasting treatment.
